Oscillating flow heat pipe technology

Working principle:
Self-excited Mode Oscillating Flow Heat Pipe (SEMOS Heat Pipe) is a kind of new high efficient heat transfer elements. It is constituted by long serpentine pipe, straight pipes and elbows. It is devied into three sections: heating section, condensation section and heat insulation section. A certain mount of working liquid is put into the sealed vacuumed curving capillary. When the caliber is small enough, the working substance forms liquid and steam plungers. Through phase change and oscillation of plunges, the pipe realizes heat transport. This process combines ebullition, evaporation, condensation and impulse oscillation, therefore the pipe achieves high heat transfer efficiency.


Advantage:
1.simple structure, comparing with the common tube exchanger, the SEMOS heat pipe heat exchanger can largely reduce the space occupation. Thereby, less cost of manufacture and maintenance can also be realized.
2.different heating mode and heating position compared with traditional technolgy. So it is not effected by installation location;
3.good heat transfer capability, especially in recovery of waste heat with low temperature.

Application:
As the SEMOS heat pipe heat exchanger is of those predominance, so it is normally used in surplus heat utilization. According to working atmosphere, three kind working mode are demonstrated as following:
