Ammonium sulfate

Process description
Blowers in drying system get the natural air blown into the steam heat exchanger, where the air is heated by heating pipes while steam gives off heat and becomes condensate. The hot air then enters the vibro-fluidized bed to dry the wet ammonium sulfate coming from the centrifuge and dehydrate its moisture content quickly. At the rear of fluidized-bed, the natural air is directly blown onto the bed to cool down the ammonium sulfate fines. The final product is discharged out of the bed. The small number of ammonium sulfate contained in the drying/cooling off-gas is removed by cyclone. It will be further pressured by draft fan and de-dusted then by water-bath de-duster. After dust removal, the cleaned gas can be vented to air. The washing water flows to the sink of desulphurization system.

Strengths
  Ammonium sulfate is melted at temperature of 140℃, so in this drying system the air inlet temperature always maintains between 140℃-150℃ for fear that the material may be overheated and melted, becoming adhesive to shell surface or piping wall.
  In this system, the vibro-fluidized bed principally serves to dry material and material conveying is driven by the exciting force. As a result, the little friction, beat and knock among material particles greatly reduce the damage to granularity of particles.
  The dust removing system includes cyclone, de-duster with high efficiency in dust removing. Emission of off-gas meets the requirement.
